Incredible chicken. We had a chicken burrito and two chicken tacos. I'm sure their other items are good, but the chicken has the most perfectly balanced smoky char flavor.

This place is essential. The smoked chicken is so flavorful and perfectly cooked. It falls right off the bone and tastes so good. The chicken comes with rice, beans, salad, salsa and tortillas, so you can eat them as sides or make little tacos. Everything is so good. I got a half chicken. You could split this with a friend or just snack on it solo throughout the day. You can get a while bird too so def a good way to feed the family affordably. The only other thing I had here was a chicken burrito which was also good. Lots of fresh veggies in there and good hot salsa to spice it up. I would like to try other things but will likely stick mostly with the whole chicken because it is just too good to pass up. Do yourself a favor and eat here, you will be so glad you did.

La Costera has the best charcoal chicken in Denver! I travel to Oaxaca, Mexico 6 times a year and this is the closest I can get to having the best pollo in Denver! The half or full chicken plate is the way to go!

The young man that served us was the best I have ever dealt with. My husband always gets the half pound French dip. He swears by it, I usually get the rueben. The service was the best so very polite, I do highly recommend this La Costera.
